Hi Zoe / Leanne,

Here are your links to download all audios from our sessions. Click the buttons below to play the track online or ‘Right-click/click-hold’ and choose to ‘SAVE’ to your device.

I’d suggest that you download to a personal device, and listen to the track without the need for internet connection.

As we progress through our sessions together I will upload your MP3s and hoemwork tasks to this page. These mp3s are your medication – take at least one ‘listen‘ per day for best effects.

Relaxation & Good Dreams Boost This is to be listened to at least once per day for best effect. A calmer mind has a better chance of drifting off into deeper sleep. So I want to introduce the concept that Zoe can go looking for good dreams – as an creative adventure. Suggestions are also embedded to become curious and investigate new things – like a detective. Also I explain how different parts of our bodies control different functions and jobs. So we need them all to calm together so they can become stronger as a whole.

Homework – ZOE… Your homework for this week is to devote time to listening to the audio – preferably at bedtime. I’ve extended the end of the track to give you a few minutes to chill after I finish speaking. If you can, I want you to see if you can nod off to sleep before the track ends.

Let me know how you get on.

In track TWO we focus on an enjoyable journey into bed at night. We throw away the idea of going to sleep, we throw away the worries of ‘what if I can’t get to sleep’. Instead we think of the time as laying down, comfortably, in a safe place, where we can focus our imagination of flying off to our most favourite place in the world. Focussing the imagination, with our eyes closed, on all the great fun things to be enjoyed in this great place. And if we’re not asleep in 15-20 mins, we’re still enjoying all the fun of being in our favourite place.

Also we look at food as an adventure too. All different food that can be sampled and tasted – because we’re getting older, more mature and braver. So we can now choose to try each new food, just small amounts, but we say yes to trying everything at least once. Food becomes an adventure, an exercise in gathering all the different tastes.

HOMEWORK: Zoe – In your own bed, get comfy, snuggle into position and close your eyes. Your job is to choose an exciting place to whisk yourself away too. It could be fun or relaxing or magical – whatever you feel like on that night. The task is not ‘going to sleep’ but instead going into your imagination and staying in there – enjoying yourself – as long as possible.

Also – To begin with, I’d like you to research all foods (with help from mum or dad) that may taste similar to food you already like. Foods that have different textures, but similar tastes. And choose to try everything at least once to see if you find it similar to another taste.

For Session Three we looked at trying new foods, to discover tastes and textures for ourselves but also to allow more interaction with other people. The food wolf has its own identity and the sleepover was with a best friend. This approach links food with connection to others and a social interaction.

HOMEWORK – Here are the food pages that you can use to fill in as you try foods from different groupings.

It would be helpful if you could either take a picture of your form throughout the week and send to me by email. That way I get to see all progression and avoidance.
